Is retention getting better or worse compared to last year?

The “Compared to” feature in Segments lets you quickly see if you’re doing better than the same period last year or the previous period.

Where to find it

  1. Go to Analytics > Executive Summary > Retention.
  2. Use the “Compared to” dropdown to compare against the previous period or same time last year.
  3. Watch for percentage changes in repeat customers, revenue, and ARPU.

Tip

If retention is declining year-over-year, it might be time to audit your email flows, review product combos, or rework loyalty and rewards programs
